Quality & Inspection

Inspection built around each audio component.

We translate drawings, application risks, cosmetic zones, and assembly interfaces into a practical inspection plan for each component program.

Supplier Review Document

See how an audio component inspection plan can be structured.

The downloadable sample covers controlled drawings, application risks, dimensional and visual checks, assembly, pack-out, and release responsibility. Actual limits and sampling are agreed for each project.

Application-Based Control

The same checklist does not fit every speaker component.

A rigging rail, perforated grille, heat sink, and molded waveguide fail in different ways. We focus inspection on the features that affect the finished audio product.

Rigging & Mounting

Load-path interfaces and repeatable alignment

  • Specified material and finish
  • Hole position and mating geometry
  • Edges, threads, pins, and assembly fit
  • Project-specific traceability needs

Grilles & Acoustic Protection

Open area, cabinet fit, and visible finish

  • Hole pattern and open-area consistency
  • Formed profile and cabinet interface
  • Foam, cloth, and driver clearance
  • Coating, color, and cosmetic limits

Thermal & Electronic Hardware

Flatness, interfaces, and protected surfaces

  • Thermal contact and mounting flatness
  • Threads, bores, and connector cutouts
  • Deburring and electrical clearances
  • Anodizing, marking, and cosmetic zones

Molded Acoustic Components

Geometry, texture, inserts, and assembly fit

  • Critical acoustic and mounting dimensions
  • Warpage, flash, sink, and gate condition
  • Texture and agreed color appearance
  • Insert retention and mating-part fit

Inspection Workflow

Quality planning starts before the first part is made.

The depth of inspection and records is agreed according to the drawing, application, production process, order stage, and buyer requirements.

  1. 01

    Requirement review

Confirm revision, units, tolerances, material, finish, quantity, application, mating parts, and cosmetic zones.

  2. 02

    Incoming control

Check the specified material, purchased hardware, inserts, finishes, and other inputs relevant to the project.

  3. 03

    First-article verification

Inspect agreed dimensions, appearance, fit, and functional interfaces before releasing repeat production.

  4. 04

    In-process checks

Control setup-dependent, tooling-dependent, forming, molding, coating, and assembly features during production.

  5. 05

    Final release & pack-out

Verify agreed requirements, quantity, labeling, protection, kit completeness, and packaging before shipment.

Process Evidence

Inspection points matched to how the component is made.

Reports, samples, photographs, and retention requirements can be defined with the buyer where the project requires them.
